The technologist operates various radiographic and computer equipment to produce radiographs of designated human anatomy areas on patients of all ages. Assignments may require accepting work at various locations within the health system, including all off-site facilities.
Candidates must be graduates of an Accredited Radiology Program and possess a New York State License and ARRT Registry, with new graduates having a grace period to obtain these credentials. Preferred experience is three to six months of on-the-job training, and the role requires significant physical activity including lifting and positioning patients.
