The therapist is responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions weekly to clients aged 12-17 based on individualized Master Plans of Care. This role also involves evaluating residents, engaging guardians in treatment planning, and participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings.
Candidates must be licensed mental health professionals (PLPC, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LMSW) possessing maturity, integrity, and strong communication skills for diverse audiences. Essential qualifications include proficiency in conflict resolution, mediation, and maintaining high standards of confidentiality and social skills.

Louisiana Methodist Children’s Home of SWLA is seeking an empathetic, passionate, and caring PLPC, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or LCSW to provide therapeutic treatment on site to clients ages 12-17 years of age. Clients have an average stay of 3-6 months, during which the therapist provides individual, family, and group therapy based on treatment plans written by the therapist in collaboration with the client and their guardians. While therapists can have a caseload of up to 8 youth, decisions are made using a treatment team, which is made up of multidisciplinary professionals, who collaborate to provide the best care possible for our clients. Salary: Starts at $50,000
