The role involves diagnosing and treating pediatric endocrine conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, and growth disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. Responsibilities also include developing treatment plans, monitoring ongoing care, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology and have completed an ACGME-accredited Pediatric Residency and a Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship. Eligibility for or possession of a Florida Medical License, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care are also required.
