The Recovery Support Worker builds relationships with individuals to develop shared understandings of their goals and the steps needed to achieve them, assisting in identifying and implementing meaningful goals across various recovery areas like mental health education, daily living skills, and vocational support. This role also involves organizing and facilitating community activities, monitoring medications, providing face-to-face crisis intervention, and assisting with routine daily tasks and program upkeep.
A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, along with one year of full-time direct care experience serving mentally ill consumers being preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, have a minimum of two years of driving experience, and maintain an acceptable driving record.
