The Nurse Clinician functions in a leadership role, acting as a direct care provider and clinical expert in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include developing and implementing practice guidelines and maintaining standards of care through staff development and education.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nursing school and hold an active, unrestricted RN license in Georgia, along with two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse. Preferred qualifications include a BSN degree and two years of clinical experience in the specialty.

Functions in a leadership role as a unit-based clinical resource and educator. Responsible for staff development, orientation and onboarding, competency, patient education, and quality improvement. Supports established standards of care and practice through training, staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient/staff education. Serves as a role model of clinical excellence in nursing knowledge and clinical practice.
