The Anesthesiologist Assistant will work under the direction of a licensed anesthesiologist to assist in administering and monitoring anesthesia during surgical and medical procedures. Key duties include patient assessment, preparing equipment, intraoperative monitoring, and providing support during post-anesthesia care and recovery.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree from an accredited Anesthesiologist Assistant program and hold current certification through the NCCAA, along with eligibility for Vermont licensure. Strong knowledge of anesthesia practices, pharmacology, monitoring, and excellent teamwork skills are essential for this role.
Prior clinical experience in anesthesia care or operating room settings Familiarity with modern anesthesia equipment and monitoring technology Experience working in a collaborative surgical team environment
