The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments and behavioral health care, supporting clients in directing their own health care experiences through assessment, intervention, education, and resource linkage. This role involves encouraging respect for individuality and collaborating with the medical team to understand patient beliefs and barriers regarding illness.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree and hold a current unrestricted license in the state of practice (LCSW/LPCC/LMFT), along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a National Provider Identifier (NPI) before starting. Required experience includes one year in a mental health setting, with a preference for three to five years of experience in a related environment like an FQHC or outpatient clinic.
