The primary role is to administer oral and topical medications to patients/residents as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, adhering to all regulations. This position also involves performing routine daily tasks necessary for maintaining the health, comfort, and well-being of the patients/residents.
Candidates must possess mandatory state certification as a Nursing Assistant and state-approved medication administration certification where required. Essential functions include demonstrating knowledge of the 'five rights' of medication administration and accurately recording all medication administration and patient responses.
