The Clinical Staff Pharmacist delivers generalized pharmacotherapy services across various patient populations, including preparing or supervising the preparation of routine and compounded pharmaceutical items. This role involves communicating and collaborating with medical staff and patients to offer clinical consultation, monitor drug therapy, and suggest cost-effective medication alternatives.
A Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required, though a Doctorate in Pharmacy is preferred, along with at least one year of Hospital Pharmacy experience. Candidates must possess a Registered Pharmacist license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
