The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for providing therapy services and education to patients, their families, and staff to prevent and treat disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes. This role involves evaluating patients, planning treatment, providing direct therapy, and collaborating with others to optimize functional recovery.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and hold a valid Mississippi Speech Language Pathologist license. Essential certification includes the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from AHSA.
The Speech Language Pathologist provides therapy services and education to patient, patient’s family and staff to prevent and treat disability following disease, injury or other cause. The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, plans, provides treatment and collaborates with others to optimize functional recovery and minimize disability.
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech Language Pathology with ASHA certification of clinical competence
Valid Mississippi Speech Language Pathologist license. Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) – AHSA certification.
Experience: At least one (1) year experience in hospital based setting.
