The clinician will deliver evidence-based group interventions to diverse populations in various community settings, including schools and residential programs. Responsibilities also include maintaining clinical documentation and assessing client progress using multiple modalities.
Candidates must have completed a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling or Social Work, with licensure being preferred. Prior experience delivering group interventions is required, along with knowledge of DBT, CBT, and other evidence-based practices.
Center for Human Development, CHD, is currently seeking a Community-Based Clinician to join our Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) in Chicopee, MA!
CBHC provides an outpatient behavioral health clinic, 24/7 mobile crisis services, and crisis stabilization for youth and adults. Our CBHC program delivers these services as an alternative to hospital emergency departments and psychiatric hospitalization. It also offers community crisis stabilization, outreach, medication management, and peer-level support to ensure that your family member is taken care of on every level.
Your role as a Community-Based Clinician
This individual will be delivering evidence-based group interventions to diverse populations within CHD and at our partner sites. Types of setting may include schools, community centers, and residential treatment programs. The clinician will be responsible for clinical documentation, assessment of client progress, and delivery of interventions that represent an array of approaches and modalities. Individuals served will include children, adults, and individuals who may be mandated to participate in treatment.
This is a full time,1st shift opportunity. Schedule will include 4 weekdays and 1 weekend day each week.
