The primary role is to execute various imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, providing technical assistance and supportive patient care to medical staff. This involves operating and maintaining all imaging department equipment, performing exams according to regulations, and managing necessary documentation and quality control checks.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED and graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, along with current state certification and ARRT registration in radiography. Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree, ARRT registration in computed tomography, and 2+ years of radiologic experience, including 1+ year in CT and/or the emergency room.
