The Radiation Therapist III performs advanced and specialized procedures in Radiosurgery or Radiation Oncology, focusing on simulation and treatment delivery for at least two advanced modalities like SBRT, Gamma Knife, HDR, or SGRT. This role requires performing quality assurance tasks, ensuring treatment plan accuracy, and collaborating with the clinical team throughout the treatment process.
Candidates must have 3-4 years of clinical experience in radiation therapy, specifically with knowledge of stereotactic therapy concepts, and must be proficient in at least two advanced treatment modalities (SBRT, Gamma Knife, HDR, or SGRT). Required certifications include ARRT Radiation Therapist license and current CPR/BLS certification.
