The coordinator manages the credentialing and privileging process for physicians, providers, and other professionals. They ensure compliance with state and governmental licensures and track required continuing medical education.
Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office. Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently are required.
Under general supervision, the Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for assuring the proper credentialing and privileging of physicians, mid-level Providers, research associates, professionals, and paraprofessional individuals.
The Credentialing Coordinator will maintain and ensure compliance for all licensures and appointments with state and governmental agencies and certifications for each Provider.
The Credentialing Coordinator also tracks and ensures the completion of required continuing medical education courses/workshops.
