The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides Occupational Therapy services to patients of all ages under the direct supervision of the Occupational Therapist, assisting in treatments and carrying out assigned departmental duties. Key functions include performing treatments based on the evaluation/treatment plan, documenting patient involvement, and completing administrative tasks like billing and productivity summaries.
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association and must be licensed or eligible for licensure as a COTA in Arkansas. One year of experience is preferred, along with proficiency in written and verbal communication.
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant provides Occupational Therapy services to patients of all ages/populations/diagnoses, under the direct supervision of the treatment plan delineated by the Occupational Therapist; assists the Occupational Therapist in patient treatments and carries out departmental duties as assigned. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant shall be supervised by the Occupational Therapist according to Federal and State Guidelines.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Program approved by the American Occupational Therapy association.
AR licensed or eligible for licensure.
Prefer one year's experience.
Desirable characteristics include a proficiency in written and verbal communications, ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public.
Licensed or eligible for license in Arkansas as a COTA.
