The Occupational Therapist is responsible for resident evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning, and implementation of therapy interventions. This includes developing and revising the plan of care to establish functional goals and discharge plans.
Candidates must possess current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in good standing. A Bachelor's degree is also required for this position.
Overview The Occupational Therapist is responsible and accountable for residents’ evaluation, ongoing assessment, planning, and implementation of therapy interventions.
Develops and revises plan of care based on the residents’ needs and establishes functional goals, outcomes, and discharge plan. Plans for residents’ discharge and anticipates for long term and/or short term residents’ needs. Educates other health care team members, residents, family, and caregivers on information regarding the care plan for the residents.
Qualifications Required Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, in good standing. Bachelor’s degree. EEO/AA/Vet Friendly
