The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner provides advanced practice healthcare services to high-risk newborns and infants requiring intensive medical attention for various conditions. Responsibilities include independent practice within the scope of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, ordering and interpreting tests, developing comprehensive care plans, and documenting services accurately.
Minimum requirements include a Master’s degree in nursing or higher with appropriate nurse practitioner certification, current Texas APRN licensure, successful completion of a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program, and Board Certification (NNP-BC). Preferred qualifications include one year of experience in a Level III/IV NICU and delivery room resuscitation experience.
Master’s degree in nursing or higher with appropriate nurse practitioner certification for patient care in the area of clinical specialization. Current Texas Advanced Practice Registered Nurse licensure. Successful completion of Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program. Board-Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC)
Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience in Level III/IV NICU Delivery room resuscitation and stabilization experience
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
