The Occupational Therapist assumes responsibility for patient care overseen by assistants and technicians, including staff and student orientation, and acts as supervisor when necessary. Responsibilities involve assessing patient needs, initiating appropriate interventions, observing treatment effects, and recommending changes to the physician as required.
Applicants must possess current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the hospital is located and hold a current Basic Life Support/CPR card. Previous experience in all aspects of occupational therapy is preferred for this role.
