The Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive Cardiology services within the hospital, managing patient care aspects like fluid/electrolyte balance, nutrition, pain management, and post-discharge planning under physician supervision. Responsibilities also include coordinating care across settings, handling necessary communications, and providing night/weekend coverage rounds as needed.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and a Massachusetts Nursing License, with DEA registration required for prescribing. Preferred experience includes three to five years in a cardiovascular service line, and ongoing certification maintenance including CME and re-certification exams.
