The Nurse Practitioner will conduct comprehensive dermatologic evaluations, diagnose, and manage common skin conditions while performing necessary in-office procedures like biopsies and cryotherapy. This role involves developing individualized treatment plans and maintaining accurate documentation within the EMR system.
Candidates must be a licensed Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey, nationally board certified, and possess a minimum of two years of required dermatology experience, including strong procedural skills. The position requires the ability to work independently across two locations and commit to a part-time schedule including evening shifts.
Conduct comprehensive dermatologic evaluations and follow-up visits Diagnose and manage common skin conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, etc.) Perform in-office dermatologic procedures (biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, etc.) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide patient education on skincare and treatment options Maintain accurate and timely documentation within EMR Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care Preferred Skills Experience with cosmetic dermatology (not required but welcomed) Comfort working across multiple practice locations Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Jersey (or eligible for licensure) National board certification as a Nurse Practitioner Minimum of two (2) years of dermatology experience required Strong procedural skills in medical dermatology Excellent communication and patient engagement skills Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced outpatient setting Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly compensation based on experience Supportive clinical environment Established patient base Modern outpatient setting
