Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of central and peripheral nervous system disorders for patients with acute and chronic neurologic conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This includes interpreting diagnostic studies, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Requires a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school, completion of an accredited neurology residency, and board-eligibility or certification in Neurology. Must obtain and maintain an unrestricted state medical license and DEA registration.

The Neurologist provides comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of disorders of the central and peripheral nervous system. This role includes the care of patients with acute and chronic neurologic conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with neurologic disorders including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, headache disorders, neuromuscular diseases, movement disorders, dementia, and neurodegenerative conditions Provide outpatient neurology care and inpatient consultation services Interpret and manage neurologic diagnostic studies, including EEG, EMG/NCS, and neuroimaging, as applicable Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on current clinical guidelines Participate in acute neurologic care such as stroke evaluation and management, as applicable Collaborate with neurosurgery, primary care, rehabilitation, psychiatry, and other specialists Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and disease management Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives Supervise and educate residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, or medical students as applicable Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards
