Key responsibilities include triaging emergency and critical care patients during overnight hours, assisting with treatments in the ICU, and providing immediate care and stabilization for critically ill or injured animals. The technician will also monitor vital signs, administer prescribed treatments, and perform diagnostic procedures like radiographs and blood tests.
Candidates must be willing to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, for this full-time position involving three 12-hour shifts weekly. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while certification as a Veterinary Technician and previous experience in Emergency Veterinary Technician and ICU roles are preferred.
Full-time position of three (3), 12-hour overnight shifts each week to ensure continuous patient care.
