The technician provides high-quality care to pets in critically emergent situations within a fast-paced environment. Key duties include the initial assessment and prioritization of patients based on the severity of their condition.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and certification as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) is preferred. Previous experience in specialty or emergency veterinary medicine is also preferred.
