The primary role involves accurately applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis by performing radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring the highest quality radiograph with minimal patient radiation exposure. Responsibilities also include positioning patients and equipment correctly, providing necessary radiation protection, and adjusting technical factors based on anatomical knowledge and equipment operation.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree and maintain ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT)(R) within one year of hire, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire. One year of clinical experience and knowledge of RIS/HIS are preferred.
This position accurately applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis, including skills required in performing a variety of technical procedures, resulting in the highest quality diagnostic radiograph, with the least amount of radiation exposure to the patient.

ARRT - Reg Radiologic Technologist Required Equivalent Experience - Effective 11/2020 - ARRT credentialed in Radiography (ARRT)(R) within one year of hire or transfer date BLS - Basic Life Support Required Equivalent Experience - Within 1 month of hire or transfer
