The Medical Physicist is responsible for the design optimization, technical evaluation, and precise delivery of radiation plans under the direction of the Director of Medical Physics, ensuring patient and staff safety. This role also involves providing continuing physics support, including assistance with instrumentation, calibration, treatment planning, dosimetry, and quality assurance.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree, DMP, or PhD in medical physics and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in medical radiation physics. Certification requirements include obtaining and maintaining board certification (ABR, ABMP, or CCPM) and a valid State of Florida license for medical physics (TRP or MPT).

Under the direction of the Director of Medical Physics and in support of the Senior medical Physicists, responsible for the design optimization, technical evaluation and precise and accurate delivery of radiation plans, responsible for the safety of patients and staff. Supports and adheres to safety and compliance program to include OSHA, HIPAA and the Code of Ethics Provide continuing physics support to the department of radiation oncology. Assist and provide coverage in areas of instrumentation, equipment calibration, treatment planning, dosimetry, radiation protection and quality assurance. Estimated salary range for this position is $193964.45 - $252153.79 / year depending on experience.
