include conducting psychiatric evaluations for children and adults, managing ongoing medication when necessary, and ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and on time according to regulations. The role also involves collaborating with the staff Psychiatrist and administrative staff to meet client needs.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school and be bilingual in English and Spanish, which is a mandatory requirement. Applicants must also be certified with the Drug Enforcement Administration to prescribe medication and be licensed to practice in New York State.
Conduct psychiatric evaluations for all Athena clients (children and adults) Conduct ongoing medication management when needed Complete all required documentation by a given deadline and in compliance with program and state regulations Ensures all clinical notes and client information are updated and accurate within the current EHR system Provide conflict resolution and crisis intervention when needed Work in collaboration with administrative staff to ensure client needs are successfully met Ability to commute between sites when needed
