This role involves assisting adults and children seeking mental health services by conducting comprehensive assessments to determine eligibility and appropriate levels of care. Key duties include developing recovery plans, providing crisis intervention, and offering clinical consultation to other mental health professionals.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology and hold a current license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist. Previous mental health work experience with adult consumers and a valid, insurable Texas Driver's License are also mandatory requirements.
This position assists adults and children applying for mental health services by determining eligibility for admission and providing diagnostic evaluations. Primary duties include conducting assessments to document mental health status, social history, and determining appropriate levels of care. The position also engages individuals in the recovery planning process to promote successful treatment outcomes.
This is a full-time position with standard work hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
This position is directly supervised by the Mental Health Program Administrator for Admissions.
Will be eligible for a one- and two-year increase, depending on satisfactory performance.
