The therapist will provide neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities, utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure holistic, continuous care for elderly individuals with various neurological and psychiatric conditions. Key duties include conducting evaluations, providing condition-specific or insight-based therapy, and coordinating the patient’s care plan with facility staff, PCPs, and family members.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work and hold current licensure as an LMHC or LCSW in the state of application. Essential qualifications include the ability to function effectively within an interdisciplinary treatment team, good time management skills, and the capacity to work autonomously with managerial support.
