Candidates must be a graduate of an Accredited School for Physical Therapy Assistants and possess current Florida State Licensure, along with a required BLS certification. National Certification (NBCOT) is preferred.

Purpose: A Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in an inpatient rehab setting works under a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide hands-on care to patients recovering from injuries or illnesses. Their daily work involves implementing treatment plans through therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education, as well as communicating with the PT and other healthcare team members to monitor patient progress.
Graduate of Accredited School for Physical Therapy Assistants required Licensure: Current Florida State Licensure required. National Certification (NBCOT) preferred BLS required.
