The Clinical Psychologist will provide neuro-behavioral health services to elderly residents in long-term care facilities using a multi-disciplinary approach to treat neurocognitive disorders. Key duties include conducting evaluations, establishing diagnoses such as Alzheimer's or Parkinson's, providing cognitive assessments, offering condition-specific therapy, and coordinating care plans with facility staff, PCPs, and families.
Candidates must possess an active state Psychologist license and demonstrate a strong passion for the geriatric population, coupled with an interest in neurobehavioral science. A desire to improve the lives of those struggling with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders is essential, and an HSPP is preferred in applicable states.
