The Ultrasound Technologist collaborates with Medical Imaging leadership and the medical director to establish operating policies and procedures. The technologist is responsible for executing diagnostic, interventional, and vascular ultrasound exams according to established guidelines.
Candidates must possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree from an accredited program or equivalent military/hospital training, along with active RDMS or RVS registry certification, including passing minimum physics and one specialty registry exam. Previous hospital and required vascular experience are necessary, with supervisory experience preferred for lead roles.
- Hourly $55.94 - $83.91 An Ultrasound Technologist works with the Medical Imaging leadership and medical director to develop operating policies and procedure. Technologist is responsible for performing the diagnostic and interventional exams in either diagnostic medical sonography or echocardiography, and also performs vascular ultrasound exams, (has RVT or RVS advanced certification), within these established guidelines. Serves as a role model and resource within the department.
