The Registered Respiratory Therapist establishes personalized relationships with patients and collaborates with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized respiratory care plans promoting optimal health or peaceful death. This role involves utilizing scientific evidence and compassion to guide patients through their health journey while accepting responsibility and accountability for care provision according to established policies.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree (Bachelor's preferred) and be registered by the National Board of Respiratory Care with current RCP licensure in the applicable state, including VA State Licensure. Required certifications include BLS upon hire, with ACLS, NRP, and PALS to be completed within 90 days, alongside CRT or RRT credentialing.
Education: Associate's Degree/Certificate required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
