Providers will offer direct patient care and assume primary responsibility for clinical management across various settings including ambulatory, operating room, emergency department, and inpatient areas. This involves obtaining histories, performing examinations, ordering and interpreting tests, prescribing medications, developing treatment plans, and participating in case management and quality improvement projects.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in nursing (pediatric or family NP program) or be a graduate of an accredited physician assistant program, along with one year of experience in a pediatric or family-focused clinical area. Required credentials include active Washington state licensure, national certification (for NPs), NCCPA certification (for PAs), DEA registration, and current BLS/PALS certification.
