The Clinical Lab Scientist performs routine and STAT clinical laboratory testing across all laboratory areas following established procedures, reporting to the Director of Laboratory Services. This role involves accurately reading, interpreting, recording, and maintaining patient testing records while staying knowledgeable about all technical procedures and instrumentation.
A valid Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) certification from the State of California and adherence to the State of California, DHS, Laboratory Field Services education requirements for licensure are mandatory. Two years of experience as a Clinical Lab Scientist is preferred.
