The position involves assisting nursing staff with patients' personal care, providing emotional support, and helping with activities of daily living. More complex duties are performed under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel.
Candidates must have completed a course for nursing assistants and possess current state certification as a Nursing Assistant, along with CPR/BCLS certification (which can be obtained upon hire). Six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility is preferred.
