This position exists to exhibit excellence in patient care areas, serving as a positive role model, mentor, educator, and resource to all staff. The specialist also supports the department by being the exemplar resource in abilities, ownership, and maintaining service standards for team members needing guidance in Respiratory Care.
Candidates must possess current Indiana licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and the R.R.T. credential, along with an Associate of Science degree in respiratory care. Required experience includes 2-4 years in Respiratory Care and 1 year in the area of specialty, plus certification in Healthcare Basic Life Support.
Outside of working with groundbreaking technologies and therapies, our Clinical Respiratory Specialists get the opportunity to grow their medical knowledge and skills.
