The LVN will ensure individual service plans are followed, administer prescribed treatments, and conduct meaningful rounds with residents and physicians. Responsibilities also include administering injections, performing in-house tests, documenting changes, and supervising nursing aides in their duties.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or GED plus one to two years of college or vocational school, and graduation from an accredited school of nursing. A current Texas licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse is required, along with the physical ability to perform demanding tasks like lifting up to 100 pounds and extensive standing/walking.
