The Dialysis Nurse is responsible for delivering renal replacement therapy and performing patient assessments according to nephrologist orders. They also maintain dialysis equipment and provide essential education to patients, families, and clinical staff.
Candidates must hold a current state licensure as a Registered Nurse and possess a Bachelor or Associate degree in nursing. At least 2 years of current dialysis experience or a Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification is required.
The Dialysis Nurse is responsible for delivering renal replacement therapy and nursing care to patients with renal conditions. This includes performing patient assessments, dialysis procedures, equipment maintenance, and providing education to patients and clinical staff.
Must demonstrate proficiency in dialysis-related clinical skills and equipment operation.
Effective communication and patient education skills are essential.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Graduate of an approved Bachelor or Associate degree in nursing.
At least 2 years of current experience in dialysis or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification required.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
BLS required; ACLS preferred.
