The Physician is responsible for providing quality medical services, engaging in the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of disease, defects, or injuries, and rendering medical treatment consistent with professional standards of care. This role also requires completing accurate medical records, providing after-hours call coverage, and actively participating in non-revenue generating activities that advance the organization's Vision and Mission.
Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and have successfully completed residency, achieving Board Certification or Eligibility. Required credentials include being licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment, holding a Controlled Substance License, and possessing a Drug Enforcement Agency Number.
