Candidates must be graduates of an accredited School of Nursing with a current RN license in Texas. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred, along with at least one year of full-time RN experience or completion of a Graduate Nurse Program.

Harris Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse II (Nurse Clinician II) to join the Oncology team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital for full-time day shifts. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and Harris Health Nursing standards. You will independently manage oncology patients with commonly occurring conditions, applying clinical standards, principles, and evidence-based practices. You will also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and recognize when to escalate care to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care in a specialized oncology setting.
