The technologist operates X-Ray equipment according to standard procedures and physician instructions to examine patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric. Essential functions include applying knowledge of radiation protection, accurately demonstrating anatomical structures, and providing necessary patient care during radiologic procedures.
Candidates must have successfully completed an AMA Approved School of Radiologic Technology and possess current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, along with a South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association License. No prior years of experience are required for this position.
