The Physical Therapist conducts initial and ongoing patient assessments, develops appropriate treatment plans with specific goals, and provides direct, skilled therapeutic interventions daily according to the plan of care and current standards of practice. Responsibilities also include instructing patients and families, maintaining accurate documentation in the electronic medical record, and supervising physical therapy assistants if applicable.
Candidates must be a Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of current practice or meet qualifications for traineeship/temporary license, and preferably have 2 years of experience in an equivalent setting. Essential abilities include demonstrating appropriate application of age-specific standards, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and general computer proficiency for data entry and record management.
