We are seeking a Front / Back Office Specialist who takes pride in doing things the right way and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is ideal for someone with front desk experience in a multi-doctor practice who enjoys patient interaction, multitasking, and being an essential part of clinic operations.
We are a high-volume, growth-focused interventional pain management clinic serving the Tampa community. Our team works collaboratively, supports one another, and stays focused on delivering efficient, professional care to every patient who walks through our doors.
Working in a multi-provider environment means every day is different, and strong coordination between the front desk, clinical team, and providers is essential.
Welcome and check in patients in a professional and efficient manner Manage patient flow across multiple providers and schedules Verify insurance eligibility and demographic information Collect co-pays and process payments accurately Schedule follow-up appointments, procedures, and consultations Coordinate provider schedules and help optimize daily clinic flow Confirm upcoming appointments and assist with schedule adjustments Assist with daily balancing and end-of-day reconciliation Maintain an organized and welcoming front desk environment
Team members in this role will have the opportunity to cross-train on back office responsibilities to better understand clinical workflow and support the team when needed.
Room patients efficiently during high-volume clinic times Obtain and document vital signs Prepare and turn over exam rooms Assist clinical staff with patient flow Support providers and medical assistants as clinic needs require

High School Diploma or GED Front desk experience in a medical office preferred Experience working in a multi-provider or high-volume clinic strongly preferred Computer proficiency and ability to work within multiple systems Strong communication and customer service skills Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail
This position provides exposure to both clinical and operational aspects of a growing specialty practice, including front office coordination, clinical workflow, and procedure scheduling.
