The role involves efficiently performing a wide range of clinical and/or administrative tasks for outpatients under the direct supervision of a licensed physician or advanced practice provider. The incumbent will serve as a key team member, assisting the provider with outcome-based patient care using a team-based approach.
Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program or hold a Paramedic degree/certification, and must obtain BCLS certification from the American Heart Association within three months of employment. No prior experience is required, with proficiency expected within three months through training.
Promotes a professional patient-centered practice image by efficiently performing a wide variety of clinical and/or administrative duties to medical office outpatients under the direct supervision of a licensed physician or licensed advanced practice provider (APP). Serves as an important role on the care team to assist the physician or APP with outcome based patient care. Utilizes a team-based approach to all tasks.
Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assisting and/or certification as a Medical Assistant or completion of a Paramedic degree or certification program. BCLS certification from the American Heart Association required within three months of employment date.
No experience required. Given training and on-the job experience, incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of job within three months of employment date.
