The Speech Language Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients across various acuity levels. Essential functions include developing and modifying treatment plans, recommending augmentative communication equipment, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in speech/language pathology from an approved program and maintain a current Speech Language Pathologist license in Florida, along with BLS certification. Two years of outpatient pediatric experience is preferred, and applicants must either hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence or be actively engaged in the Clinical Fellowship Year requirements.
