• Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation is housed within five outpatient sites that offer a full scope of rehabilitative services for children ranging from birth to age 21 with a range of diagnoses and conditions.
• Our pediatric rehabilitation team operates within a collaborative, fast-paced, and patient-centered environment with the goal of working with children to maximize their potential.
• Arnold Palmer Hospital Outpatient Pediatric Rehabilitation is seeking for a Speech Language Pathologist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, feeding and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients of all ages with varying acuity levels.

Responsibilities

• Essential Functions
• Evaluates patients, gathering data from the patient, the physician, interdisciplinary team meetings if available, family and significant other persons and data sources.
• Develops treatment plans which integrate with the continuum of care and have specific goals and objectives and treats accordingly.
• Evaluate and recommend various types of augmentative and alternative communication equipment.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to treat and provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned caseload.
• Re-evaluates and modifies treatment plan and goals when appropriate.
• Ensures complete documentation and accurate billing using an electronic medical record. Other Related Functions

• Participates in Performance Improvement, program development, student supervision, assigned committees, safety, and infection control, as required.
