The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient-oriented procedures under the direct supervision of a physician. Additionally, the CMA is responsible for clerical duties as necessary to maintain departmental efficiency.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and required CMA certification from an accredited program, with BLS/CPR certification being preferred. Essential qualifications include strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient comfort and confidentiality.
