The role involves providing basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care, operating within the scope of Medical Assistant education and training. Medical Assistants will receive continued training on all aspects of the Medical Assistant role.
Candidates must have a diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program or hold an active CT CNA, EMT, Paramedic, or Medic Certification, or possess at least one year of direct patient care experience in lieu of formal education. A Certified BLS Provider credential from the AHA is required within 90 days of hire.
Provides basic clinical and clerical support in the delivery of patient care within the Medical Assistant scope of education. The Medical Assistant experiences continued training of all aspects of the Medical Assistant role.
