The Medical Laboratory Technician will perform a full range of high-complexity clinical laboratory tests across various sections like hematology, chemistry, and blood bank, ensuring accurate specimen processing and timely testing. Responsibilities also include maintaining laboratory equipment readiness, upholding rigorous quality control procedures, and adhering to all safety and regulatory compliance standards.
Candidates must graduate from a NAACLS or ABHES accredited MLT program and possess an Associate’s Degree in a relevant laboratory science. Applicants are required to maintain current BLS certification and ASCP or AMT registration, along with a minimum of one year of experience as an MLT within the last two years post-graduation.
ADVANCED CHENEGA SERVICES, LLC Brooke Army Medical Center San Antonio, TX The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) will support the Department of Pathology and Ancillary Laboratory Services (DPALS) at Brook Army Medical Center (BAMC) at Joint Base San Antonio, located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Graduate from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or educational program acceptable to the American Medical Technologist (AMT). Medical Laboratory Technicians will meet necessary Continuing Education (CE) requirements. Associate’s Degree certificate in: Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), or Medical Technologist (MT) Possess and maintain a Basic Life Support (BLS) Possess and maintain registration/certification through ASCP or AMT Minimum one (1) year experience within the last two (2) years post-graduation as a medical laboratory technician.
