The Unit Coordinator will manage the clerical functions of the nursing unit required to support patient care services at Hampton Behavioral Health Center. Responsibilities include assisting in the direct care and management of patients with medical and behavioral issues as directed by the treatment team.
Candidates must possess experience and knowledge of interventional and administrative duties necessary to support nursing and patient care, including knowledge of dual diagnosis, chemical dependency, and mental health patient issues. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with one year of experience working with a psychiatric patient population, and previous secretarial experience is preferred.
