The Medical Podiatrist will diagnose and treat a wide range of foot conditions, including fractures, sprains, and infections, while collaborating with orthopedic surgeons and other staff. Responsibilities also include creating personalized treatment plans, educating patients on foot care, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Candidates must possess a DPM degree from an accredited school and hold active medical licensure in good standing, along with a strong understanding of foot and ankle anatomy. Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery and subspecialty certification in Podiatry are required qualifications.

Orthopedic Surgery- Medical Podiatry (Per-Diem) Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Burlington and Peabody Join our expert team of 19 providers at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, part of Lahey Health, as a skilled and dedicated Medical Podiatrist to focus on providing specialized care for adult patients. You'll work alongside Orthopedic Surgeons (General, Adult Reconstruction, Foot & Ankle, Sports, Oncology, Trauma & Fracture Care) and will be supported by Advanced Practitioners.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of foot conditions (fractures, sprains, bunions, infections, etc.). Collaborate with doctors, physical therapists, and nurses for the best patient care. Create personalized treatment plans, including medications and therapy. Educate patients on proper foot care and prevention. Maintain accurate medical records. Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery and subspecialty certification in Podiatry DPM degree from an accredited podiatry school. Active medical license in good standing.
